This intensive Co-parenting Training Program helps practitioners move beyond focusing on how time is spent between households and center their work with co-parents on the needs of children as they navigate the realities of post-divorce parenting. Family Mediators, Family Law Attorneys, Collaborative Professionals, Mental Health Professionals, Coaches, and all other Divorce Professionals working with separating parents will all benefit from unique approach and practical skills presented in this course.

In this 4-day training you will walk away with:

• A greater awareness of how to help co-parents minimize the overall impact of family change for their children.
• Information about how age and stage of development affects children’s adjustment and how you can use that knowledge when developing parenting plans.
• An understanding of the core tenets of successful co-parenting.
• Knowledge about the emotional aspects of loss and grief for parents and children as well as, how it those dynamics show up in the room.
• Skills for addressing complex issues that need to be discussed openly to avoid future co-parenting conflicts.
• Tools that will help you cultivate innovative approaches to working with co-parents and crafting parenting plans that address the complexities of parenting out of two homes.
