The Forrest "Woody" Mosten Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Mediation Training Scholarship

The Academy of Professional Family Law Mediators is proud to announce the Woody Mosten Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Mediation Training Scholarship. The purpose of this scholarship is to decrease the financial barriers for applicants of diverse and marginalized communities wishing to attend a Professional Mediation Training. Forrest “Woody” Mosten has generously offered to be our first scholarship sponsor, funding five (5) scholarships for training of one thousand dollars ($1,000) each.

Applications will be accepted through March 31, 2021.

Committee review, selections and awardee determinations by anticipaetd by April 30, 2021.

Winners will be announced by May 31, 2021.

Contributors to the 2022 scholarship will be announced in August of 2021 and acknowledged at APFM’s fall annual conference.

The purpose of our scholarship program is to increase cultural competency and diversity within our mediator pool. We have developed the following criteria for scholarship selection to help us meet this goal.

Applicants must meet our criteria for “Low Income”. Please check only one box. *
