Business Description
Cyndi holds a master’s degree in Conflict Resolution and a graduate certificate in Collaborative Governance. She provides mediation services specializing in family, community, and politically polarized disputes. Personalized service is offered in a way that is flexible, reliable, and respectful.
While she mainly focuses on family and community (landlord-tenant, small claims, etc.) cases, Cyndi also uniquely skilled at facilitating politically charged disputes. For her master's degree, she co-created a political dialogue project which received overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants. It was awarded a Peacebuilding Grant from the Beaverton Center for Mediation and Dialogue and honorariums from the George Fox Civility Project. She presented this project at the Oregon Mediation Association’s annual conference in 2023.
In the family mediation field, she most commonly works on custody/parenting time agreements, and financial agreements related to divorce in Oregon.
Cyndi is committed to ongoing learning and regularly attends trainings in ethics and mediation techniques (facilitative, transformative, and narrative styles), ensuring she stays current and has a broad toolkit with which to help her clients achieve their goals. She enjoys working with people of all backgrounds and feels very fortunate to have found a career in mediation that deeply aligns with her values of dignity, curiosity, agency, and trust-building.
