This course is the 40-hour basic family mediation training required to become an accredited or certified mediator with the Ontario Association for Family Mediation (OAFM) and other accrediting bodies throughout the world. You will learn how to be a family mediator, from understanding conflict and negotiation through the mediation process and the necessary skills. There is a combination of learning, group discussion and exercises and role plays, where the learning becomes concrete.
