About the Webinar
Technology is already changing family mediation. Clients are arriving with AI-generated information and expectations, while new tools are changing how families prepare for mediation, communicate, and navigate difficult issues. In this practical, forward-looking program, Susan Guthrie explores how family mediators can respond to the AI-informed client and use emerging technology to support, rather than replace, the human work of mediation. Using real-world examples and technology apps such as Mediator Gabby, beAligned, and Soberlink, participants will learn how technology can support preparation, provide better information, reduce conflict, and help families participate more effectively in the mediation process. The question is not whether technology belongs in family mediation, it is how we use it without losing the human judgment and self-determination that are at the heart of the mediation process.
